The reward

Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever says SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi one hundred times a day, his sins will be wiped away, even if they are like the foam of the sea” (Sahih al-Bukhari 6405).

One hundred times takes about two minutes. Many people say it on the way to work, while waiting, or before sleeping. Scholars explain that this promise covers minor sins; major sins need sincere repentance.

SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi is also one of the two words heavy on the scale.
