Today’s Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha times for London are at the top of this page, in local London time. They update automatically every day.
Which calculation method is used for London?
Muslim World League (Fajr 18°, Isha 17°). This is the method most widely used by mosques in United Kingdom. Your local mosque may use a slightly different method, so its timetable can differ by a few minutes.
Why is Asr earlier here than on some other timetables?
Asr here follows the standard (Shafi’i, Maliki and Hanbali) method, when an object’s shadow equals its length. Hanafi timetables start Asr later, when the shadow is twice the length.
What time is Maghrib (Iftar) in London?
Maghrib is just after sunset. During Ramadan, Iftar is at Maghrib. See today’s Maghrib time above, or the monthly table for other dates.
How are Fajr and Isha calculated in summer in London?
At London’s latitude the sky can stay light all night in summer, so Fajr and Isha are adjusted with the widely used angle-based rule. Many local mosques publish their own summer timetables, so please check yours.
