This wording is reported from the Companion Ibn Masสฟud. Allah says about Ramadan: โand to glorify Allah for having guided youโ (Quran 2:185), and about the days of Eid al-Adha: โAnd remember Allah during the appointed daysโ (Quran 2:203). For Eid al-Fitr, the takbeer is said from the night before Eid until the Eid prayer begins. Men say it aloud; women say it quietly. Learn the meaning of Allahu Akbar.
