Hasbunallah vs Hasbiyallah
Hasbunallah means “Allah is enough for us”; Hasbiyallah means “Allah is enough for me”. The singular form appears in the Quran: “Hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa huwa, ‘alayhi tawakkaltu, wa huwa rabbul-‘arshil-‘azim”: Allah is sufficient for me; there is no god but Him; in Him I put my trust, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne (Quran 9:129).
